Job Summary
SS Bucket Biryani is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial management of our restaurant business.
The ideal candidate should have strong UAE accounting experience, preferably in the F industry, with practical knowledge of POS sales reconciliation, inventory, supplier accounts, VAT, petty cash, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate daily accounting records and bookkeeping.
Reconcile daily restaurant sales with POS reports, cash, cred card and online delivery platforms.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Verify supplier invoices, purchase invoices, payments and outstanding balances.
Perform bank, cash, credit-card and POS reconciliations.
Manage petty cash and daily cash transactions.
Maintain purchase, expense and payment records.
Assist with inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, food costing and wastage analysis.
Coordinate with restaura teams to verify sales, purchases, stock movements and expenses.
Prepare monthly P&L, sales analysis, expense reports and cash-flow reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Support UAE VAT calculations, doentation and filing requirements.
Maintain proper accounting doentation for audit purposes.
Identify discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
Support internal and external audits.
Monitor expenses and assist management with cost-control analysis.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
2–5 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in F.
Strong understanding of restaurant accounting and daily sales reconciliation.
Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic UAE accounting requirements.
Experience with accounting softwa and restaurant POS systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of inventory, food costing and supplier reconciliation.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred
UAE F accounting experience.
Experience handling multiple restaurant branches.
Knowledge of Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks or other accounti systems.
ACCA, CMA, CA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
Immediate availability is preferred.
