You will be responsible for the full accounting cycle, including handling freight billing, port charges, detention, and demurrage invoices. The role involves performing rigorous vendor and customer reconciliations, verifying shipment job files for accurate revenue recognition, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations. You will collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to maintain high standards of job costing accuracy and assist in month-end closing procedures. a. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
b. 3–6 years of relevant experience specifically in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
c. Strong knowledge of freight billing, job costing, and shipping doents (BL, DO, manifests).
d. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or Oracle.
e. Advanced MS Excel skills and a good understanding of Incoterms.
