We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / Tax Associate with strong hands-on experience in Zoho Books a Odoo Accounting and practical exposure to UAE VAT compliance. This role combines technical accounting work with an opportunity to earn additional income through client referrals, making it ideal for professionals with strong networking skills.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books / Odoo
Prepare, review, and file UAE VAT returns
Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closing
Assist in preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
Support corporate tax compliance and doentation
Coordinate with clients and team members for timely deliverables
Proactively identify opportunities to refer potential clients to the Company
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1- 2 years UAE-relevant accounting experience
Hands-on experience with Zoho a Odoo ERP
Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws, filing, and compliance procedures
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Good communication and client-handling skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client assignments reponsibly.
Existing professional network or client-facing exposure
