Key responsibilities include implementing a 3-year strategy, identifying data monetization opportunities to generate new revenue streams, and leading the bank’s transition to a data-driven culture. You will also establish robust governance frameworks to ensure the ethical use of technology while staying updated on emerging trends like LLMs and RAG to keep the bank competitive.

This position is open to Omani nationals only. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related Engineering field. You should have 5–8 years of experience in and data roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. A proven track record of delivering production AI solutions and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical knowledge of lakehouse architectures, Spa, API integration, and vector databases. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to mentor a technical team are highly required.
