Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aluminum Designer / AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for aluminum and glazing systems, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards. This role requires strong AutoCAD skills and experience with aluminum fabrication, curtain wall systems, doors, windows, and façade elements.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings using AutoCAD.
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop aluminum system designs.
Design aluminum systems including curtain walls, doors, windows, skylights, and cladding.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure accurate designs.
Review project specifications and ensure drawings comply with project requirements and standards.
Revise drawings based on client or consultant comments.
Prepare material take-offs and basic fabrication details.
Maintain organized drawing doentation and revision records.
