1. Stock Management
•Regularly monitor stock levels on shelves and in storage to ensure product availability.
•Assist in unpacking, labeling, and placing products in the appropriate sections.
•Refill shelves and displays promptly to avoid stockouts.
•Ensure that products are neatly arranged and categorized according to company standards.
•Report any stock discrepancies, shortages, or overages to the Salesman or Sales Supervisor.
2. Product Quality & Expiry Check
•Conduct routine checks on product quality and expiry dates.
•Immediately remove expired, damaged, or defective items from shelves and report defective or expired stock to the Salesm In-charge for further action.
•Ensure only fresh, quality-approved products are available to customers.
3. Shop Maintenance & Display
•Maintain overall cleanliness of the shop, including shelves, counters, and display areas.
•Assist in setting up attractive product displays to increase customer engagement and sales.
•Support in arranging promotional products or seasonal displays as instructed by management.
•Ensure hygiene standards are followed, especially in areas involving pets and pet products.
4. Logistics & Handling
•Assist with receiving deliveries from the warehouse, including unloading and verifying items.
•Safely handle, move, and store products to avoid damage or loss.
•Help in delivering products to customers waiting outside the shop or in nearby areas when required.
•Provide support in organizing the storage area for efficient space utilization.
5. General Assistance & Team Support
•Provide continuous assistance to the Salesman in carrying out sales and operational activities.
•Assist customers by guiding them to products or carrying small purchases when needed.
•Take responsibility for cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and waste disposal to maintain a tidy work environment.
•Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Salesman, Sales Supervisor, or management to support smooth operations.
