Key Responsibilities
1.Operate backhoe loader for excavation, trenching, backfilling, leveling, and loading works as per site instructions.
2.Carry out works related to drainage lines, culverts, cable trenches, foundations, and road formation.
3.Ensure accurate digging to required levels, slopes, and alignments as per drawings and instructions.
4.Coordinate closely with the Site Foreman and Surveyor during excavation works.
5.Follow all site safety rules, HSE policies, and toolbox talk instructions.
6.Conduct daily pre start checks of the equipment and report any defects immediately.
7.Ensure safe operation near utilities, traffic, pedestrians, and other site activities.
8.Use PPE at all times as per company and project safety requirements.
9.Maintain the backhoe loader in clean and working condition.
10.Perform basic routine maintenance checks such as oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel, and tire condition.
11.Report breakdowns or abnormal machine behavior promptly to avoid downtime.
12.Do not operate equipment with known safety defects.
13.Follow daily work plans and instructions given by the Site Foreman or Project Engineer.
14.Assist other site activities when required within skill limits.

Experience and Qualification
16.Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Backhoe Operator in road and infrastructure projects.
17.Experience in UAE road works, drainage, utilities, or infrastructure projects preferred.
18.Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License for backhoe loader.
19.Third category driving license or equivalent as per UAE traffic regulations.
20.Good understanding of excavation safety and underground utility protection.
21.Ability to read basic site drawings and level markings with guidance.
22.Basic knowledge of machine operation and safety procedures.
23.Physically fit to work in outdoor and high temperature conditions.
Working Conditions
24.Outdoor site based work under varying weather conditions.
25.Extended working hours and overtime as per project requirements.
26.Shift work may apply depending on project schedules.
