The Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the cafe location, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining quality standards, and driving profitability. This role combines operational leadership with team management to create a welcoming environment that delivers a premium coffee and dining experience. The Cafe Manager acts as the face of the establishment, fostering customer loyalty while managing costs, inventory, and staff development to achieve business objectives.
•Oversee all aspects of daily cafe operations including openi procedures, cash management, and facility maintenance
•Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and company standards
•Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders and controlling waste to optimize food costs
•Maintain equipment functionality and coordinate repairs as needed
•Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures
Team Leadership
•Train, and supervise cafe staff including baristas, and servers
•Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
•Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
•Create a positive team culture that emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement
•Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
•Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
