Our Client is looking for a Cake decorat, to work with edible ingredients to create visually pleasing cake and pastry designs, communicating with customers to understand their vision for a cake, decorating cakes and other pastries and collaborating with other team members in a bakery environment to complete customer orders.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Consulting with clients to understand event and cake needs
•Creating preliminary cake designs, including drawings or other mockups for approval
•Decorating cakes and other pastries with a variety of tools and ingredients
•Preparing cake batters, fillings, icings and other necessary cake components
•Sculpting cakes into intricate shapes and forms
•Collaborating with chefs, bakers and other team members to ensure the quality and visual appeal of the final product
•Ordering necessary supplies and managing tool and ingredient inventory
•Keeping workspaces and equipment clean and sanitary
Qualifications
•Certificate or degree in culinary arts or baking preferred.
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar high paced environment.
•Creativity and Passionate about Cake Art.
Preferably the candidate is in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
