• Preparing food items on the menu following set recipes;
• Reconstituting prepared food items;
• Setting up kitchen for food preparation activities;
• Preparing, portioning and filling his / her daily section;
• Maintaining a clean and orderly section and performing any other duties as required by colleagues;
• Checking bad quality, labels & expiry dates of products and reporting them to his direct manager;
• Keeping h station and area clean and filled at all times;
• Making sure to produce best items with best quality & presentation as per TAZAL’S standards
• Preparing & cleaning his / her section and filling it for next shift;
• Washing, cutting, storing all foodstuffs as explained and displayed by the supervisors;
• Making sure to cook within safe temperature & zone;
• Defrosting products when needed taking into consideration the danger zone;
• Striving for excellent quality of production and being eager for additional training and briefing sessions;
• Following closely on health and safety requirements;
• Ensuring quality and standards are maintained in all aspects of food preparation and service;
• Reporting to his direct manager of any dysfunction or problem happening during his shift;
• Adhering to all TAZAL’S kitchen requirements;
• Being responsible for h personal hygiene and grooming at all times;
• Performing other related tasks as requested by the management.
REPORTS TO: Kitchen Supervisor / Executive Chef
• Arabic Cuisine experience (3 years)
• Previous experience in the Food & Beverages industry (3 years)
• Holds a BT, TS or High School degree.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long hours.
