Job Overview:
Responsible for managing and coordinating the Governance activities of the organization to ensure that all Governance requirements pertaining to ADG’s operations are addressed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop Policies & Processes for the GRC Department in line with ADG’s standards and other applicable
governance and regulations.
•Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to the management, which cover the Governance activities of GRC
and outcomes.
•Ensure the availability of Policies & Processes and Delegation of Authority transactions for each function at ADG.
•Ensure the governance of ADG’s Functions to the established policies, procedures & DOA.
•Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization’s operations.
•Establish and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
•Interpret and advise on existing and new legislation affecting the business and oversee the implementation of
changes a dissemination of information as appropriate.
•Oversee registration and protection of ADGs intellectual property rights (e.g. trademarks, patents, copyright etc.)
•Work closely with Finance and HR on all customer and employee-related disputes and provide guidance in
developing appropriate contracts and policies.
•Review all governance doentation pertaining to ADG’s regional such as contracts and agreements.
•Collaborate with senior leaders to set the strategic direction for governance framework management aligned with
business objectives.
•Represent ADG at all times when dealing with Government Officials on sensitive or complex issues.
•Develop the Corporate Governance Model based on leading practice and the needs of the Group’s shareholders.
•Functional charter of the Corporate Governance Structure (outlining the areas of focus, roles, protocols), and
development of specialized committees (for example remuneration and nomination committee).
•Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager
Required Education Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or any related field. ( MBA , preferred)
•Certified Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRC) from OCEG (Open Compliance and Ethics Group)
or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Training from ISACA will preferable
Required Experience and Skills
•Minimum 5 years of experience in governance formulation with real estate or property management industry.
•Exposure to multiple companies having a mix experience of the Big 4 audit firms and the industry as well.
•Strong knowledge to work in system like Yardi, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or any other ERP.
•Analytical and problem-solving abilities
•Fluency in English & Arabic Language
- Good Experience in Compliance, Governance & Risk Management.
- Experience in Real Estate
- Minimum 5 years of experience in governance formulation with real estate or property management industry.
- Exposure to multiple companies having a mix experience of the Big 4 audit firms and the industry as well.
