Job Description

The Credit Supervisor will manage the daily operations of the credit department at Crowne Plaza Duqm, ensuring the timely billing and collection of all outstanding accounts. You will be responsible for monitoring guest, company, and travel agent accounts to mitigate credit risks and minimize overdue balances. Key duties include reviewing credit applications, enforcing adherence to financial policies, and coordinating with sales and front office teams to resolve billing disputes. You will regularly analyze aging reports, prepare monthly bad debt analysis, and develop collection forecasts for management. Additionally, you will lead and train junior staff while maintaining professional relationships with clients to resolve payment issues and safeguard the hotel’s revenue.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in credit or accounts receivable, specifically within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Fidelio and advanced MS Office skills are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead a small team effectively. You must have a deep understanding of credit and collection principles and the ability to ensure compliance with both local financial regulations and internal audit requirements.
