Protect an organization’s infrastructure, networks, and data by proactively identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security protocols, and managing threat responses. Responsibilities include conducting penetration tests, managing firewal tools, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1.Threat Detection & Monitoring: Continuously monitor networks for security breaches, intrusions, and anomalies using tools like SIEM.
2.Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and audits to identify system weaknesses.
3.Security Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, encryption, and antivirus software.
4.Incident Response: Lead investigations into security breaches, mitigate threats, and conduct forensic analysis to prevent future incidents.
5.Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and ensure compliance with industry standards.
6.Training: Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and security awareness.
