Protect an organization’s computer networks, systems, and data from attacks, breaches, and unauthorized access. Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, implementing firewalls and encryption protocols, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to incidents.
Key Responsibilities
1.Threat Detection & Mitigation: Constantly monitor networks for vulnerabilities, suspicious activity, or unauthorized access.
2.Security Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain security tools like firewalls, intrusion detecti systems (I antivirus software.
3.Vulnerability Management: Perform regular, comprehensive vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify potential system weaknesses.
4.Incident Response: Lead, investigate, and remediate security breaches or malware incidents.
5.Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and ensure adherence to standards.
6.Security Training: Conduct training and awareness campaigns to educate employees on phishing, malware, and secure practices.
7.Forensics: Perform forensic investigations on security breaches to understand the attack method
Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology with 10 to 15 years of experience in cyber security domain. Experience in power sector is preferred.
