Sohar University is seeking a progressive academic leader to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. The Dean will be responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring academic excellence in teaching and research, and managing the administrative functions of the faculty. Must hold a recognized Doctorate with evidence of teaching skills and research experience. Academic Rank must be at least Associate Professor. Minimum of 3 years of administrative leadership experience in a university or college setting. Suitably qualified in a major offered by the Faculty of Engineering. Excellent proficiency in English and clear, effective communication skills. Omani candidates may be exempt from experience requirements pending Ministry approval. Demonstrated ability to lead academic teams and manage institutional growth.
