We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Department Manager to lead our Building Automation & Control
Systems division. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities, with proven
experience in managing sales, engineering, and project coordination activities related to low-current and automation
systems.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Building Automation & Control Systems department, ensuring achievement of business
objectives and revenue targets. Develop and implement departmental strategies to expand market presence and increase sales opportunities. Oversee customer inquiries, tenders, and proposals, ensuring timely and competitive submissions. Review and approve technical and commercial quotations based on project specifications, drawings, and client
requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Lead negotiations and coordinate with customers to secure contracts, purchase orders, and work orders. Supervise the preparation of technical submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications and
consultant requirements. Monitor project pipelines, PMA (Potential Market Activity), and business opportunities, providing regular reports
to senior management. Manage procurement coordination and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective
sourcing. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to sales engineers, application engineers, and project teams. Ensure effective coordination between sales, engineering, procurement, and project execution teams. Monitor departmental performance, budgets, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Systems Expertise Required Building Management System (BMS) / Building Automation System Lighting Control Systems Power Management Systems Water Leak Detection Systems
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Building Automation, BMS, Controls, or related low-current systems. Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role. Strong understanding of tendering, technical doentation, project management, and commercial negotiations. Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and team management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong business development and customer relationship management capabilities.
