Job Summary:
A Dermatologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. The role includes providing both medical and aesthetic dermatology services while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and compliance with **Department of Health Abu Dhabi regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Duties
Diagnose and treat skin conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections)
Perform dermatological procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, minor surgeries)
Manage chronic skin diseases and follow-up care
Provide patient education on skin health and prevention
2. Aesthetic Services (if applicable)
Perform procedures such as:
Botox and dermal fillers
Chemical peels
Laser treatments
Conduct skin assessments and recommend suitable treatments
3. Patient Care & Safety
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Ensure informed consent is obtained before procedures
Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
4. Compliance & Regulations
Follow DOH policies, clinical guidelines, and ethical standards
Maintain valid professional license and CME requirements
5. Collaboration
Work closely with nurses, laser therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Refer patients to specialists when necessary
