Responsibilities include performing load flow studies, managing grid infrastructure (transformers, lines, SCADA), ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing smart grid technologies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1.Design & Analysis: Design and optimize distribution systems, including substations, overhead lines, and underground cabling.
2.System Studies: Perform short-circuit, load flow, and protective relay coordination studies to ensure reliability.
3.Grid Maintenance: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot faults, and oversee maintenance or upgrades of electrical equipment.
4.Planning & Compliance: Develop long-range capacity expansion plans, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
5.Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and field crews to manage infrastructure projects.
6.Modernization: Integrate smart grid technologies, renewable energy sources, and advanced metering systems.
