Draftsman – Event Production
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our event production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical, shop, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings for a wide range of event projects, including scenic stage sets, exhibition stands, custom-built structures, retail displays, and temporary event infrastructure.
The role requires close coordination with the Design, Estimating, Production, Procurement, and Project Management teams to transform creative concepts into production-ready drawings while ensuring quality, safety, and buildability.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience, preferably in event production, exhibition stands, stage production, scenic fabrication, interior fit-out, joinery, or custom fabrication.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and SketchUp for 3D modeling; knowledge of 3ds Max, Rhino, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
Strong understanding of fabrication methods, construction detailing, materials, and production processes.
Excellent technical drawing, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
