Responsibilities:
• Ability to read and interpret project input doents such as Single Line Diagrams
(SLD), load schedules, specification compliances, and design input checklists to
prepare accurate submission drawings.
• Hands on experience on design and development of Low Voltage Switchgear Panels like
MDB, SMDB, MCC, PLC Control Panels, Generator Control Panels, Capacitor Bank
Panels, ATS, DB, LC.... etc.
• Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry is an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, E-PLAN and SEE
Electrical is highly preferred. Knowledge of additional software is a plus.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed engineering drawings and doentation, including
like GA, Internal layout, SLD, Schematic Diagrams, Communication Diagrams, Interface
Diagrams, BOM etc. for LV Switchgear & Control Panels.
• Ensure all electrical drawings adhere to project specifications, local authority
regulations [DEWA, SEWA, TAQA, EWA] and industry standards.
• Knowledge in selection of switchgear components and enclosure systems.
• Co-ordinate with and support cross-functional teams to resolve any design issues
arising during production assembly and QC testing.
• Prepare as-built drawings at project completion.
• Maintain drawing files, revisions, and project doentation.
• Ability to handle multiple design tasks eiciently with high accuracy.
