Kayan Power Systems in Bahrain is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer for Power System Studies.
The role involves performing detailed electrical network studies for industrial, utility, and power generation projects using ETAP.
Key responsibilities include load flow, short circuit, motor starting, protection coordination, arc flash, and harmonic analysis studies.
The candidate will build and validate electrical network models and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), prepare high-quality technical reports, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors.
This role ensures compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and NFPA, while providing technical support during design and project execution phases.
This position is open to Bahraini nationals only.

a. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power or equivalent)
b. Minimum 3 years of experience in power system studies
c. Strong hands-on experience with ETAP (mandatory)
d. Experience in industrial plants, utilities, or power generation projects
e. Solid understanding of LV, MV, and HV power systems
f. Ability to read, analyze, and develop electrical Single Line Diagrams
g. Proficiency in technical report writing in English
