Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electro-Hydraulic Electrician to install, diagnose, and repair complex electrical systems integrated with heavy hydraulic machinery in Muscat, Oman. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our fleet and machinery running, including mobile cranes, garbage compactors, hydraulic tail-lifts, and various types of industrial electro-hydraulic equipment. Your expertise will minimize machinery downtime and ensure strict adherence to local safety standards.Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on cranes, garbage compactors, hydraulic tail-lifts, and diverse electro-hydraulic machinery.
Troubleshoot control systems, including solenoid valves, relays, limit switches, joysticks, sensors, and PLC units.
Interpret technical diagrams, including complex electrical wiring schematics and hydraulic circuit charts.
Test electrical outputs using multimeters, insulation testers, and diagnostic scanning tools to locate faults.
Partner with hydraulic mechanics to resolve issues at the intersection of electrical control and fluid power systems.
Execute preventative maintenance routines to detect frayed wiring, loose connections, or failing control modules early.
Maintain repair logs detailing work completed, parts replaced, and diagnostic outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Muscat, Oman.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience specializing in heavy equipment or electro-hydraulic systems. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) experience is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of both 1 DC mobile electrical systems and 3-phase AC industrial power.
Skills: Expert proficiency in tracing electro-hydraulic logic and reading industrial schematics.
Education: Trade school certification, ITI, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors in high-temperature environments, climb onto heavy machinery.
