Job Summary:
Responsible for complete mechanical installation of passenger and goods elevators. The candidate must be capable of handling the installation independently from start to handover, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install elevator mechanical components including guide rails, machines, car frames, counterweights, doors, and safety devices
-Read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and site layouts
Measure, mark, and prepare shafts as per manufacturer specifications
-Execute full mechanical installation with minimal supervision
-Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and electrical technicians
-Perform alignment, leveling, and adjustment of mechanical components
-Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards (EN 81 & local regulations)
-Report progress, site issues, and material requirements to the supervisor
Support testing and commissioning activities as required
Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in elevator mechanical installation
-Strong knowledge of installation sequences and site safety
-Ability to complete installations independently
-Good communication and problem-solving skills
-Physically fit and able to work at heights
-Multi-brand elevator experience preferred
