Overview
We are currently supporting a GCC-based investment entity in sourcing an Equity Analyst for a
12-month secondment engagement.
The selected candidate will be positioned within a structured investment team and will play a
key role in delivering high-quality market research, financial analysis, and valuation insights
across GCC equity markets.
Role Objective
The Equity Analyst will support the investment team in evaluating market opportunities, building
financial models, and contributing to portfolio decision-making through structured and
data-driven analysis.
Role Scope & Responsibilities
The Equity Analyst will be expected to: Monitor GCC equity markets, including sector performance, valuation trends, liquidity
dynamics, and index changes. Track key macroeconomic drivers across the GCC region (oil prices, fiscal policy,
interest rates, economic reforms, and geopolitical developments). Assess the impact of regulatory changes, new policies, and market reforms on listed
equities. Conduct both top-down (macro, sector, thematic) and bottom-up (company-level)
analysis to identify investment opportunities. Analyze company financial statements, operating metrics, and competitive positioning. Prepare and maintain financial models (DCF, multiple-based valuation, and scenario
analysis). The ability to independently build and maintain models is a strong advantage. Monitor earnings revisions, consensus expectations, company guidance, and quarterly
reporting trends. Present findings to portfolio managers and team leads, clearly articulating the investment
rationale behind recommendations.
