Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender doents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Calculate quantities and material take-offs for steel structures.
• Prepare and review BOQs, RFQs, and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to gather relevant data for cost estimation.
• Maintain updated databases of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization activities.
• Provide technical support during bidding and project execution stages.
• Attend client meetings and site visits when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimation within a steel fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, steel grades, and industry standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software (e.g., Tekla, Bluebeam, Candy, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
