Key Responsibilities
Prepare Accurate Cost Estimates for Interior Design and Fit-out projects ( Civil, MEP , Joinery, Finishes and Furniture's )
Analyze drawings, BOQ's, specifications and Tender Doents to determine Materials , labours and Time Requirements.
Liaise with Suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing
Evaluate and compare suppliers / subcontractors for quotations and pricing.
Work closely with the Design and project teams to align budgets and with design intents
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, variations , and value Engineering proposals.
Track projects cost budgets and forecast potentials overruns.
Assist in Tender submission and negotiations
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related fields
3-5 Years of Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in an Interior design / fit-out firms ( U experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Fit-out Materials, finishes , joinery , furniture's , MEP and current market rates
Proficiency in AUTO-CAD, MS Excel and Estimation Software
Ability to read and Interpret Drawings, specifications and BOQ's
Strong negotiations and Vendor Management Skills
Attention to details, accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent Communications Skills ( English required' Arabic is a Plus )
