We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and performance of our tobacco business. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance, while ensuring effective control over accounting, cost management, and cash flow to support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure accurate cost accounting for tobacco production and distribution (raw materials, excise duties, logistics, and finished goods).
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure business continuity.
Provide management with timely financial insights to support decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Work with production, operations, and sales teams to align financial planning with business objectives.
Track and control operational and capital expenditures.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, excise duties, and financial reporting standards specific to the tobacco industry.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Identify financial risks and implement appropriate internal controls.
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and strong performance.
Provide financial input for business strategy, pricing, and cost optimization.
Support senior management in fundraising, investment planning, and financial negotiations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is required.
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or tobacco industry.
Strong knowledge of costing, inventory control, and exci frameworks.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior management.
