The role will have international responsibility for financial control, accounting operations, investment analysis, cash-flow management, financial reporting and strategic financial planning across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee financial control and accounting operations across Australia, Dubai and Vietnam.
Manage and coordinate finance teams across multiple international locations.
Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and management accounts.
Manage multi-entity, multi-currency and intercompany accounting.
Develop budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections and financial models.
Monitor financial performance across each market and provide strategic recommendations.
Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
Analyse investment opportunities, acquisitions and strategic business projects.
Conduct investment appraisals, ROI analysis and financial due diligence.
Monitor investment performance and provide recommendations to ownersh management.
Oversee treasury, banking relationships, liquidity and cash management.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, legal advisors and banking partners.
Ensure appropriate compliance with applicable Australian, UAE and Vietnamese financial and tax requirements, with local advisors where required.
Analyse operating costs, CAPEX, OPEX and profitability relating to superyachts, boats and marine assets.
Support financial planning for yac acquisition, ownership, operations and related investments.
Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Develop and improve financial reporting systems, processes and controls.
Provide senior management with commercially focused financial insights for strategic decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant international finance and accounting experience.
Proven experience managing finance across multiple countries and entities.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, financial controls and international accounting.
Strong experience in investment analysis, financial modelling and corporate finance.
Excellent understanding of multi-currency transactions and international banking.
Experience working across Australia, UAE a Vietnam is highly preferred.
Experience in superyachts, marine, luxury assets, private investment, family office or high-value asset management will be a strong advantage.
Previous experience leading international finan teams.
Advanced Excel and strong E systems experience.
Excellent analytical, commercial, communication and leadership skills.
High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling financial and investment matters.
