Grupo Middle East WLL is looking for a highly experienced Fire & Life Safety Engineer for a key project in Qatar. The role involves designing fire alarm, sprinkler, smoke control, and emergency systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA, IBC, IFC, and local Civil Defence codes. The engineer will review designs, perform calculations, supervise installation and testing, conduct fire risk assessments, coordinate with project teams, and prepare technical reports. The position is for 3 months with the possibility of extension.

a. Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
b. Minimum 14 years of proven experience in a similar role
c. Strong knowledge of international fire codes and standards
d. NFPA, CFPS, or PE certifications are a significant advantage
e. Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills
f. Experience in fire modelling or evacuation simulation is a plus
