We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the company in achieving accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
Key Accounting Responsibilities:
-Maintain day-to-day financial records for both business units (architecture office and building materials shop).
- Prepare journal entries, manage general ledger operations, and generate monthly financial statements.
-Reconcile bank accounts and oversee petty cash transactions.
-Handle accounts payable and receivable, and manage supplier and client accounts.
-Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with Omani regulations.
-Ensure adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations.
-Monitor inventory movements and assist with periodic stock audits
-Manage branch-level correspondence, filing systems, and doent organization
-Ensure compliance with internal administrative policies and procedures.
-Manage utility payments and liaise with local government offices.
Must be FLUENT in English: Reading, Writing, Speaking
Ability to speak in Urdu is an advantage.
Previous experience with Elixir software is an advantage
-At least 1 year of Experience working as an accountant in Oman.
-Self-motivated and able to work independently.
-In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and Omani VAT regulations
