Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Flooring Helper to assist with the installation and maintenance of various flooring materials, including SPC, LVT, parquet, laminate, carpet tiles, and rubber flooring. The ideal candidate will support the flooring team by preparing materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting in installation tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:•Assist with loading and unloading flooring materials and tools.•Help prepare the worksite (cleaning, leveling, and marking areas).•Carry and move flooring materials to required locations.•Assist skilled workers in cutting, fitting, and installing different types of flooring.•Clean up job sites before and after installation.•Follow instructions from supervisors and installers.•Use hand tools and power tools as directed.•Handle waste materials and dispose of debris properly.•Ensure all safety protocols are followed on the job site.
Requirements:•High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).•Prior experience in construction or flooring (preferred but not mandatory).•Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.•Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.•Basic knowledge of tools used in flooring work.•Punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Working Conditions:•Full-time position; may include overtime and weekend work.•Work is performed on active construction sites or indoor renovation spaces.•Requires standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling for long periods.
