Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Gold Refiner willing to relocate to South America / West Africa
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical processing, especially with hazardous chemicals such as nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. This role involves ensuring that all refined metals meet industry standards while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical processing of precious metals, especially using nitric acid and hydrochloric acid.
Ensure all refined metals comply with industry standards and quality specifications.
Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous chemicals in a safe and regulated manner.
Implement and adhere to strict safety procedures and best practices in chemical handling.
Manage and track raw material inventory throughout the refining process.
Maintain accurate records of refining procedures, output, and waste management.
Operate, monitor, and maintain refining equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product consistency.
Experience in gold or precious metal refining is a strong advantage.
Willing to relocate to South America / West Africa.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven experience handling hazardous chemicals safely.
Proficiency in chemical processing techniques.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with refining tools and industrial equipment.
