Taiba Group is seeking a strategic and highly experienced Group Chief Accountant to lead the finance function across our various entities in Bahrain. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with IFRS. The role involves managing Bahrain VAT (NBR) compliance, overseeing complex inventory accounting and COGS analysis, and maintaining robust cash flow forecasts. You will lead the budgeting process, coordinate external audits, and supervise the accounting team, providing high-level financial insights to senior management to drive business growth.

a. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or ACCA qualification is strongly preferred.
b. Experience: 7–10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
c. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep expertise in IFRS and Bahrain VAT (NBR) regulations.
d. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel (financial modeling, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
e. Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is considered a significant advantage.
