Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Gypsum False Ceiling Site Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising gypsum ceiling installation works on site and coordinating with the workforce to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
The candidate must also be capable of driving company vehicles to transport workers, materials, and tools to and from project sites when required.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision•Supervise installation of gypsum board ceilings, bulkheads, light coves, and partitions according to drawings and specifications.•Coordinate and manage site workers and subcontractors to ensure proper workflow and productivity.•Ensure correct installation of GI channels, studs, tracks, hangers, and gypsum boards.•Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure finishing meets project standards.•Read and interpret shop drawings and site layouts.•Conduct daily site inspections and report progress to management.
Workforce & Site Coordination•Organize workers for daily tasks and site activities.•Coordinate with main contractor, consultants, and other site teams.•Ensure workers follow site safety regulations and PPE requirements.•Maintain site discipline and productivity.
Transportation Duties•Drive workers to and from project sites when required.•Transport tools, materials, and equipment to different project locations.•Ensure the company vehicle is maintained properly and used responsibly.•Hold a valid UAE driving license.
Reporting & Doentation•Maintain daily progress reports.•Track material requirements and site consumption.•Inform management about site issues, delays, or additional work requirements.
Requirements•Minimum 3–5 years experience in gypsum false ceiling or interior fit-out works in the UAE.•Strong knowledge of gypsum ceiling systems, GI framing, and interior finishing works.•Ability to read drawings and manage site teams.•Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).•Basic knowledge of site safety procedures.•Good communication skills (English / Hindi / Malayalam / Arabic is an advantage).
Preferred Skills•Experience in commercial and residential projects.•Ability to handle multiple sites if required.•Good problem-solving and site coordination skills.
Job Location
Various project sites across Ajman, Sharjah, and Dubai.
