The Head of Commercial Strategy and Planning will report to the Strategy, Network and Partnerships VP to shape Oman Air’s overarching commercial direction and growth initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing a refreshed short-term commercial blueprint, conducting industry benchmarking, and leading the airline's transformation roadmap toward financial sustainability. You will oversee the implementation of strategic programs across departments such as Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring alignment with the airline’s new positioning. This role involves tracking initiative progress, managing risk identification, and providing periodic reports to senior management. You will also lead the Strategy and Planning department, fostering a collaborative team environment and overseeing external vendors to ensure all commercial KPIs and quality standards are met within a fast-paced, transformational setting.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business discipline (mandatory), with postgraduate studies in Economics, Statistics, or Business Management preferred. You must have at least 10–12 years of experience in the aviation industry, including a minimum of 4 years in a commercial management role. Ideal candidates will have prior consultancy experience for an airline or experience in a senior management capacity within a commercial department. Proven expertise in leading large-scale transformations, project management, and change management is essential. You must possess deep knowledge of the Middle Eastern and global aviation markets and have a demonstrated track record of driving commercial success through data-driven strategies and stakeholder collaboration.
