Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipme Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and drilling equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support our construction and mining operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation and drilling techniques, demonstrating strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. This position requires the ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, maintain equipment in good working order, and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and drilling rigs safely and efficiently.
Perform site inspections and assess equipment conditions before and after use.
Conduct drilling operations according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
Coordinate with team members and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain and perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
Adhere strictly to all safety policies, procedures, and legal standards at all times.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Assist in loading and unloading equipment and materials as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a heavy equipment or drilling operator in construction or mining industries.
Valid heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent training.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for operating heavy machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and job plans.
Physical stamina and dexterity to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
Capable of performing basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
