We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our maintenance team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of heavy trucks and related equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy trucks and commercial vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine-related faults.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
Repair and replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, steering systems, and driveline components.
Troubleshoot vehicle performance issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and parts usage doentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workshop procedures.
Coordinate with supervisors and fleet management teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
Assist in emergency breakdown repairs when required.
Qualifications
Technical certification, diploma, or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in heavy truck maintenance and repair.

Strong knowledge of heavy truck maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and workshop best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Basic English communication skills.
UAE experience is preferred.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
