Metichem is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to support industrial operations in Qatar.
The role involves performing operation, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
Responsibilities include calibration, testing, loop checking, and verification of instrument functionality, as well as troubleshooting and rectifying instrument faults.
The technician will execute tubing, fitting, minor modifications, instrument replacements, cable termination, glanding, continuity checks, and basic wiring.
The role also supports PLC, SCADA, and monitoring systems while interpreting P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, layouts, wiring diagrams, and SLDs.
Strict compliance with PTW, LOTO, Electrical Safety Rules, and HSE procedures is mandatory, along with maintaining accurate maintenance records and reports.
