This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Engineer based in Ahmadi, Kuwait. The IT Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining network security measures, configuring and upgrading IT systems, and identifying opportunities to improve IT infrastructure performance and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with team members and other departments to ensure seamless technology operations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in investigating, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues (Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills).
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including a thorough understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
Expertise in Networking and Network Security, with the ability to configure and secure network environments.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams and departments.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are an advantage.
Knowledge of best practices for IT management and infrastructure security in industrial or oil & gas sectors is a plus.
