Junior Accountant – Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The candidate will support daily accounting and finance activities, including recording financial transactions, preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. The role will also support VAT and corporate tax-related doentation, expense tracking, and general administrative accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting doents.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reports.
- Maintain organized accounting records and doentation.
- Support VAT and corporate tax compliance requirements.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial doents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
- Perform other accounting duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degr in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
