Junior M&A Lawyer (US/NY-qualified)
Location – Open to candidates based in Qatar or internationally (relocation to Doha required)

Role Overview
EnergyX seeks a U.S.-qualified Junior M&A Lawyer to support cross-border M&A transactions, capital raising, and corporate structuring.
The role involves working closely with top management, finance teams, and external counsel on international transactions aligned with U.S. legal standards.
Coordination with local counsel across jurisdictions, including Qatar, will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Mergers & Acquisitions
Support end-to-end M&A transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
Draft and negotiate key transaction doents (SEAs, SSAs, SPAs, Shareholders’ Agreements, investment doents, and term sheets).
Manage multi-jurisdictional legal due diligence and transaction structuring.
Strategic & Corporate Advisory
Advise on corporate governance and shareholder matters.
Support group structuring and international entity management.
Assist with strategic commercial agreements and capital markets preparation (if applicable).
Required Qualifications-Education & Bar Admission:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
Experience 1+ years of experience in M&A and corporate transactions.
Experience in cross-border transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar.
