Job Responsibilities
The Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician will be responsible for installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of commercial catering equipment used in restaurants, hotels, hospitals, cafeterias, and industrial kitchens.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of commercial kitchen equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs for electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and gas-operated systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance as per AMC schedules and client agreements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
Attend breakdown calls promptly and provide root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
Maintain detailed service reports, job cards, spare parts usage, and client sign-offs.
Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and facility managers.
Support commissioning of new kitchen projects and refurbishment works.
Assist junior technicians when required.
Maintain tools, testing instruments, and service vehicles in good condition.
Follow company HSE policies and site safety procedures at all times.
Communicate professionally with clients and explain equipment usage and care.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment service.
Prior UAE or Gulf country experience is mandatory or strongly preferred.
Sound knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical panels, gas systems, and control boards.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, refrigeration schematics, and service manuals.
Experience working in hotels, restaurants, malls, catering kitchens, and hospital facilities.
Familiarity with AMC contracts and facilities management operations.
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or HVAC trade preferred.
Valid UAE driving license is an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Physically fit and capable of site-based technical work.c
