Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Light Vehicle Driver to transport goods, staff, or passengers to various destinations in a safe and timely manner. The driver must follow traffic laws, maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, and represent the company in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate light vehicles such as cars, vans, and small pickup trucks.
Transport staff, goods, and materials to designated locations on time.
Follow assigned routes and schedules.
Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness; report any mechanical issues.
Adhere to all traffic rules and safety regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
Maintain accurate logbooks and trip records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors.
Perform basic vehicle checks (oil, water, tire pressure) before each trip.
Ensure all doents related to the vehicle (registration, insurance, etc.) are up-to-date.
Requirements:
Valid light vehicle driving license.
Minimum [1–2] years of driving experience (as required).
Good knowledge of traffic laws and local routes.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
Physically fit and able to lift light packages if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning.
Experience working in a logistics or transportation company.
Ability to speak multiple languages (Hindi,English , etc . . ).
