We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance activities at industrial terminals, tank farms and pump house facilities. The role will be responsible for preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment, maintenance doentation, and ensuring compliance with HSE and terminal safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, supervise and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
2. Carry out mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, valves, generators and rotating equipment.
3. Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
4. Supervise and support maintenance activities for terminal equipment and associated systems.
5. Handle electrical maintenance of motors, MCCs, VFD panels, switchgears and other electrical systems.
6. Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment and associated control components.
7. Support maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV and other electric systems.
8. Possess working knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems and support troubleshooting of related systems.
9. Supervise fabrication and modification works involving structural components, piping and equipment modifications.
10. Coordinate maintenance activities with operations and other relevant departments to minimize equipment downtime.
11. Prepare and maintain maintenance procedures, checklists, inspection records and technical doentation.
12. Maintain accurate equipment history cards for mechanical and electrical equipment.
13. Monitor equipment condition and identify potential failures through preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
14. Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
15. Ensure strict compliance with HSE, Permit to Work (PTW), Locko (LOTO) and terminal safety requirements.
16. Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and repair activities when required.
17. Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, spare parts and equipment performance.
1. Diplo in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
2. Relevant industrial maintenance experience of 5-7 years.
3. Experience in oil terminals, tank farms, pump houses or similar industrial facilities is highly preferred.
4. Strong experience with rotating equipment, pumps, valves, generators and industrial electrical systems.
5. Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
6. Experience in structural and piping fabricati works is an advantage.
7. Working knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
8. NDT certification will be an added advantage.
9. Strong knowledge of industrial HSE practices, PTW, LOTO and terminal safety requirements.
10. Ability to supervise maintenance teams and coordinate multiple maintenance activities.
11. Good doentation, reporting and communication skills.
