We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman with strong knowledge in HVAC and Plumbing systems for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing design, shop, and coordination drawings as per UAE standards and authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting & Drawing Preparation:
- Prepare HVAC shop drawings - Ducting layout, Piping layout (CHW), Equipment layout, Sections, Details.
- Prepare Plumbing shop drawings - Water supply, Drainage, Storm water, Irrigation, Water heater / Booster pump details.
- Prepare Builders Work drawings, Sleeve drawings, and Penetration drawings.
- Prepare As-built drawings at project completion.
2. Coordination:
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and Electrical drawings.
- Prepare MEP coordination drawings and resolve clashes (with BIM team if required).
- Coordinate with site engineers for site conditions and modifications.
- Attend coordination meetings if required.
3. Technical:
- Update drawings as per Engineer’s comments and site markups.
4. Software & Doentation:
- Use AutoCAD
- Maintain drawing log, revision control, and doent submission.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years U experience in MEP Contracting Company
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems (Ducting, Chilled water) and Plumbing systems
- Ability to read and understand consultant design drawings, BOQ, and specifications
- Good communication and coordination skills
