We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all MEP works are completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Prepare and review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical doentation.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and budgets.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project doentation.
Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum [2–5] years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with applicable local and international building codes and standards.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
