The MEP Engineer for Fit-Out Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems integration within interior fit-out works. The role ensures that all MEP installations are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations.
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Or Related Discipline)
•2 – 4 years professional experience in interior fitout works (UAE), with a focus on project management
•Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
•Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design tools (e.g., Revit, etc.)
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences in detail, including any special considerations or
concerns.
•Coordinate MEP activities with architects, civil engineers, and interior designers.
•Review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs for MEP systems.
•Managing materials and labor costs to ensure that projects stay within budget guidelines.
•Monitor site works and ensure quality control of MEP installations.
•Preparing progress reports for clients on a regular basis throughout the duration of the project
•Manage day-to-day operations of the project site, including on-site staff and subcontractors
•Select and specify all materials and finishes to be used in the project.
•Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
