Job Summary- We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Warehouse Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of our facility. In this dual role, you will split your time between servicing professional administrative offices and heavy-duty cleaning in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience with diverse cleaning equipment, a strong eye for detail, and a strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Office & Administrative Areas:Dust and wipe down office desks, countertops, filing cabinets, and office equipment.Vacuum carpeted areas and swe tiled or hardwood office floors.Empty trash cans and recycling bins daily, replacing liners as needed.Clean and sanitize communal areas, including breakrooms, kitchens, microwaves, and refrigerators.Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, keyboards, and railings.Clean and restock restrooms daily with paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.Warehouse & Industrial Areas:Sweep and mop expansive warehouse floors, walkways, and loading dock zones.Operate cleaning machinery safely, such as industrial floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and commercial vacuums (if applicable).Clear debris, discarded pallets, shrink wrap, and cardboard to keep aisles unobstructed.Empty large industrial waste hoppers and dumpsters.Clean warehouse restrooms, break areas, and eye-wash stations.Report safety hazards, leaks, or structural damages to the warehouse supervisor immediately.Inventory & Compliance:Monitor and log cleaning supply inventory, notifying management when supplies run low.Mix and handle chemical cleaners safely according to manufacturer instructions.Follow OSHA guidelines and hazardous material handling (HAZMAT) protocols (e.g., proper use of PPE and wet floor signs).Skills and Qualifications experience: Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or cleaner (experience in both office and industrial environments is highly preferred).Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg), and handle physical labor for the duration of a shift.Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial cleaning chemicals and heavy-duty cleaning equipment (e.g., floor buffers, scrubbers).Time Management: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently across two different facility environments.Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with office staff and warehouse teams.Safety First: Strong understanding of safety regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and proper chemical disposal.
