Job Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to support and supervise daily pastry operations in our Riyadh branch. The ideal candidate will ensure high production standards, product consistency, and team performance in a fast-paced retail and central kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities•Assist the Executive / Head Pastry Chef in managing daily pastry production•Supervise and lead the pastry team to ensure efficiency and quality•Ensure consistency in recipes, presentation, and portion control•Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing•Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards•Support production planning for peak seasons and high-demand periods•Train and develop junior pastry staff
Requirements•Minimum 4–6 years of experience in pastry and bakery operations•At least 2 years in a supervisory role•Strong knowledge of production planning and cost control•Experience in high-volume F&B retail or central kitchen environments•Leadership and team management skills•Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Preferred Qualifications•Experience in premium pastry / chocolate brands•GCC experience is an advantage
