Slow Clay House is looking for a female Pottery Studio Assistant / Instructor with previous experience in pottery or ceramics.
Main Responsibilities:
* Glazing and finishing ceramic pieces
* Repairing pottery pieces
* Preparing, weighing and dividing clay
* Clay reclaiming and recycling
* Handbuilding techniques
* Cleaning and maintaining the pottery wheel and studio
* Preparing materials for workshops
* Assisting and leading pottery workshops for adults and children
* Keeping the studio organized and ready for customers
* Creating new ideas for pottery pieces and workshops
Requirements:
Previous pottery or ceramics studio experience is required.
Must be comfortable working independently and dealing with customers.
Location: Al Bahia, Abu Dhabi
Salary: AED 2,500–3,000 per month
